How does the Wingman work?
The Wingman's packaging process is fully automated and designed to ensure maximum efficiency. Once the product is fed into the left side of the machine, the driven side belts move it to the next stage in a controlled manner. The upright wings of the cardboard tray are then accurately folded together by stainless steel guides and pressure belts so that the cardboard closes tightly over the tray and product.
After folding, a label is applied, securely sealing the wings and completing the package. For added functionality, the labeler can be equipped with an integrated printer so that product information is applied directly to the label. All this is done quickly and accurately, making the Wingman an essential link in an efficient and sustainable packaging line.
